What's the craze with matcha, you might ask?

Do you suffer from IBD and nearly sh*& your pants from coffee or any other form of caffeine?

Do you hate tea but want to like tea?

Do you want something that's low in sugar but flavorful AF?

Alright, matcha is going to be your new bestie.

To be honest, I've gone in waves with matcha. I don't consistently drink it every day but I try to have it at least 2x per week because of ~all the health benefits girl~. And that being said - when I say 'wellness' I do not mean drop everything and do some crazy yoga pose and eat only kale for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's about making decisions in your life every single day that make you feel incredible! If pizza makes you feel really happy and well one day then... wellness! It's about ~balance~.

So MATCHA - I love you so matcha... Get it? Matcha has so many health benefits including anti inflammatory benefits. Let's go!

*Matcha is packed with powerful antioxidants and ECG's

*It helps lower cholesterol and blood sugar

*Enhances mood and aids concentration

*Gives you energy without anxiety and jitters or a crash

*Contains natural caffeine from the tea leaf

*Helps you detox effectively and naturally

*Supports your memory

*Matcha helps fight oral bacteria

*Helps with your skin (reducing redness, evening complexion, refining oil)

*Supports immune system function and acts as an anti inflammatory

*Packed with vitamins and minerals

*Matcha is easy to make and tastes fabulous!

Wait, so why don't you drink matcha?! :)

My final recommendations: ensure you purchase organic, ceremonial grade matcha and that it's bright green! I use different brands from Whole Foods, Amazon, or Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen.

1 cup nut milk (I prefer cashew or macadamia nut)

1 tsp matcha

1 scoop of collagen peptides

1 tsp cacao butter

1 tsp date syrup or stevia

Blend with a hand blender
